Practising Wildlife Photography

Without giving away too much just yet, I will soon be doing something very exciting which will involve photographing animals. This isn't something I have done very much of, I usually photograph landscapes, cityscapes and street.


So I headed to Edinburgh zoo to get some practise. Zoos are a great way to practise photographing animals, you can get close, practise focusing, practise compositions etc. So if you want to be a wildlife photographer but can't go on safari every week, perhaps consider visiting your nearest zoo instead.
